Via Likuni (shorter in time (30-40 minutes), but
usually rough:
Go to the Likuni roundabout. This is the roundabout
at the SW end of Old Town (Area 3) on the way to Bishop Mackenzie
School and the Lilongwe Water Board. Set your odometer. Follow the
road to Likuni, leaving the road to Bishop Mackenzie School on your
left.

Via Bunda (longer in time (40-50 minutes), but smoother
road):
Take The Blantyre road out of Lilongwe. Follow it to the
police road block at the Bunda turn off (9.7 km from roundabout in Old
town). Turn right immediately after the roadblock onto the tar road
to Bunda. Follow this to the end of the tar (26.8 km from roundabout
in Old Town.). At the end of the tar there is a crossroads, with sign
to Bunda College pointing left and Pumani Grocery on the right beyond
the crossroads. Set your odometer. Turn right.
